What to do about fleeting passion

Gorgeous article by one of my newest heroes. Heaven knows I struggle with wanting to do everything, and these are some very wise words.

This is an issue a lot of people run into – they are excited to work on lots of projects, but once they get into the nitty gritty of a business it becomes fleeting.

Hopping Back on the Bandwagon

So I took an unintentional little break this week due to illness. And by break, I mean BREAK. I’m working on getting caught up on everything that has fallen behind, beginning first with my workouts. I’ll be heading up to the gym later, but first I’ll try to get some semblance of flexibility back.

On that note, here’s a look at my average morning!

Breakfast (well, today’s, anyway):

  • Clif bar
  • 2 oz of cheese
  • 16 oz of water
  • half a grapefruit
  • 6 oz of greek yogurt

Yoga:

  • Mountain pose
  • Standing forward bend
  • Warrior I (left)
  • Open triangle (left)
  • Extended side angle (left)
  • Warrior I (right)
  • Open triangle (right)
  • Extended side angle (right)
  • Downward facing dog
  • One-legged king pigeon (left)
  • Downward facing dog
  • One-legged king pigeon (right)
  • Downward facing dog
  • Cobra pose
  • Cat pose
  • Child pose

Today’s rituals include:

  • Putting the bed away
  • Listening to uplifting music while getting ready
  • Sipping (decaf) coffee and hanging out with the Dude (it’s his day off!)
  • Spending a bit of time on the silk at the gym

I’ll just be winging the rest of the day. Still working on getting my strength back. Expect to see me dive back into my projects in the next day or two!
